"I've had this computer for about a month and it has worked flawlessly. Product arrived very quickly with no damage at all. Setup took just a few minutes and have had no issues with errors/malfunctions/etc. i5 processor is very quick as is the DVD burner. Nvidia graphics card with HDMI is sufficient enough for most. Just hooked up new Viewsonic 24" monitor via HDMI cable included with monitor and it looks great. Not a machine for hardcore gamers though, but other than that it is perfect for most other applications."- by Jason

I've had this computer for approximately 5 days. I primarily intend to use it for Internet browsing (including video streaming) as well as use of Office 2010.

For its price, this is a very impressive machine. I did an extensive amount of research before making the purchase, including price checking on Amazon and HP.com, as well as checking out other manufacturers including Dell and Lenovo. The 8GB of RAM and i5-2400 quad-core processor are more than capable of handling above-average use. (I'm using dual monitors and have a tendency to have many programs open at once). I don't intend to use it for games, so I can't comment on its capabilities in that regard.

Initial setup was extremely easy. As always, I delete add-on programs from whatever the manufacturer is (HP, Dell, etc.) and immediately defragment. It's unnecessary to do a lot of shutting down of unnecessary services because the nature of Windows 7 is that a lot of programs are set to 'Manual' by default. In all, the speed and responsiveness are very good. In no way does it struggle to keep up.

It's also a much quieter machine than my last desktop.

Pros:

- Speed and performance for price (faster than my MacBook Pro for less than half, or even a third, of the price)
- i5-2400 quad-core processor (faster than a higher-priced HP desktop selling on Amazon that has a six-core AMD Phenom II)
- Support for multiple monitors
- Number of USBs = 8 (front, top, and back--very good for concealing cords)
- Low noise
- DVD burner
- Comes with wired keyboard and mouse (I switched to a Bluetooth set but will keep these for when the batteries run out.)
- Use of DDR3 1333 MhZ RAM
- Fast hard drive (7200 RPM)

Cons (I knew about these before purchasing, so they're less 'cons' and more just things you should know before you buy. Also, these help keep the price down):

- Maximum of 8GB of RAM out of this motherboard. For 95% of buyers, I believe this will be sufficient, but just be aware you can't add any more.
- Graphics card display ports (just one DVI and HDMI). HP sells adapters if necessary.
- USB 2.0 instead of 3.0, but this really doesn't bother me. Once the Thunderbolt interface makes its way to PCs, USBs will slowly be replaced.
